Computacenter manages a pool of 2,200 accredited delivery staff that can effectively support an organisation's IT demands. These resources cover:

  • Engineers with multi-vendor skills to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support across the entire IT infrastructure.
  • Specialists Administrators with skills to support and manage databases, networks and systems (Windows and Unix).
  • Service Managers to manage delivery of services and provide technical support management.
  • Analysts to operate within a customer's service desk, providing technical support and ITIL roles.
  • Administration resources to provide on-site scheduling and reporting.

Reduces operational support costs
By utilising our resources, organisations can flex their workforce up and down as required, therefore only paying for resources as needed. The service also allows businesses to remove headcount and move to contracted services, but still retain control.

Mitigating Risk
We provide immediate access to highly accredited, security cleared engineering staff, which we ensure have the appropriate training and employment liability risk through our ISO9001 accredited processes. The significant investment we have made allows us to confidently underwrite the skills of our engineers and their availability to perform work that is project managed by the client.

Flexible Workforce

Management Operating System
Onsite resources are managed by ITIL accredited service managers, ensuring the agreed outcomes are delivered. The service managers utilise our unique Management Operating System (MOS) to effectively manage workloads to increase productivity and reduce costs.

mytransfer
Many customers transition staff to Computacenter as part of a Resources on Demand service. Computacenter have developed an award winning methodology to manage these TUPE (The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations) requirements, mytransfer. This process ensures all staff affected receive clear communications, and fully understand what is happening throughout the transfer process. This has delivered successful transitions with a high level of transfers and very low attrition.

Reuters
Over a four-year contract, Computacenter is facilitating an improvement programme designed to increase service levels and control costs to Reuters customers.
