Working in close partnership with your organisation, we adopt a service-centric approach to migration. Our multi-layered methodology for discovery and planning starts with physical assets, working through to the services and applications.

This exercise underpins planning and implementing logistics, and infrastructure engineering tasks, ensuring a low risk, cost effective solution. Key activities include:

• Understanding business objectives, including key milestones and budgetary constraints
  
• Examining application requirements, to understand dependencies between applications and physical systems
  
• Auditing and discovery, to confirm detailed assets in scope
  
• Detailed migration planning, to consider what assets will be moved in the available working day and out- of-ours slots, plus regression plans
  
• Building of a new infrastructure, either as a one-off or cyclic activity
  
• Piloting, to trial the migration and ensure all processes and technology work as expected
  
• Migrating and implementing, performing the full scope of the migration plan
  
• Operational handover
