Computacenter’s UK operation is seeking three exceptionally talented individuals who possess the potential and drive to become its highest performing Solution Sales Specialists. Selected by and working under the direct sponsorship of Computacenter’s Director of Services and Solutions, Neil Muller, the successful three candidates will begin an intensive 18-month sales and business acceleration programme, covering the company, its industry, skills, relationships, customers and competitors. For the duration of the programme, the candidates will benefit from one-to-one coaching, guidance and support from Computacenter’s most successful Solution Sales Specialists and leaders.

On successful completion of the programme, candidates will be rewarded with a promotion to become a highly prized subject matter expert and one with great credibility on the Market.

In this role, the candidates will become the face of Computacenter to some of its largest and most strategic clients.
Computacenter expects successful candidates’ earnings to exceed £100k in their first full year as a Solution Sales Specialist, having completed the 18 month programme. In 2009, the top performing Solution Sales Specialist earned in excess of £450,000.

Candidates will be expected to continue to press for ever-greater performance and as they develop and progress over the years, can have the opportunity to compete for a role as one of Computacenter’s Sales Leaders in Solutions and Services, a Client Director and ultimately a Director of one of the lines of business.

The selection process

Computacenter invites candidates to apply by submitting their CV via the computacenter.com website. The most suitable candidates will be invited to an interview with one of Services and Solutions Directors. The most impressive interviewees will be invited to attend an overnight assessment event, hosted by Neil Muller, Director of Services and Solutions. At the assessment events, candidates will be invited to participate in a range of team and individual activities that test their skills, knowledge, presentation and potential to the limit.

The highest performing three candidates at the assessment event will be offered a place on Computacenter’s sales acceleration programme as Solution Sales Specialists; starting salary in this role is £25000, £2500 bonus for year 1, plus a car or allowance and access to an excellent suite of flexible benefits.
